    Septic systems, wells, and building complaints

    County Land Use Codes are enforced by Code Compliance when it comes to definciencies regarding septic systems, wells, and building structures. Failures of septic systems or unpermitted septic systems would be initially investigated by Code Compliance.

    Mold 

    Environmental Health does not have local regulatory enforcement capabilities to address mold issues within a rental unit. The California Landlord Tenant Guidelines provide ways to submit requests for repair or service of the mold issue with your landlord. Below is the link to the landlord tenant guidelines.
